About the Facility

This free-standing psychiatric hospital delivers inpatient psychiatric services to an adult patient population within a structured clinical environment. The facility maintains established protocols and dedicated clinical resources to support continuity of inpatient psychiatric care delivery. Locum tenens coverage is sought on an immediate basis for a period of 6 months.

About the Facility Location

Michigan offers a range of experiences across its cities and natural landscapes, from the Detroit Riverfront to the shores of Lake Huron and the sand dunes along its coastlines. Visitors can explore world-class art exhibitions, live music venues, and water-based activities including kayaking, boat rentals, and paddleboarding. Day trips to areas such as Belle Isle, Grand Rapids, and small lakeside villages provide additional options for outdoor recreation and cultural engagement.

About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services for an adult population, working day shifts Monday through Friday totaling 40 hours per week on-site. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management within the inpatient setting. Call coverage is required 1-2 days per week for this assignment.
