Long-Term Care Nurse1 year plus of LTC experience, will accept clinicians with other recent specialty experience. Like rehab, med surg, hospital experience. N/A Locals Accepted: Yes LICENSE: Must have NY State License - NO LICENSE HITS ALLOWED ***MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF LICENSE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION*** RTO Restrictions: RTO ONLY APPROVED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION. WILL NOT APPROVE AFTER OFFERED. Cannot take every holiday off **ANY CALL OUTS MUST BE GIVEN WITH AMPLE NOTICE, MORE THAN 24hrs PRIOR** Compliance takes 1.5-2 weeks Requirements: Active license (state) Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required Must be able to pass a medication administration (med pass) test and clinical observation Strong attendance and punctuality required Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Perform medication passes accurately and safely Monitor and report changes in resident condition Complete timely and accurate documentation Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies Supervise CNAs on assigned units Qualifications & Skills: Organized and detail-oriented Excellent communication skills Personable and professional demeanor Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultures and personalities Team player with a positive attitude Additional Requirements: Must be dependable with consistent attendance Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be flexible with scheduling needs
