Field Service Technician

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other makes of lift trucks Perform assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks Maintain a service van and its inventory Process paperwork after completing each job Provide local field service and customer support for material handling equipment Requirements Less than 2 years related experience High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Good driving record Ability to safely operate lift trucks Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills Familiarity with common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and testing equipment Ability to read and understand service manuals Ability to plan and follow through Legally authorized to work in the United States Must not require current or future work authorization sponsorship Core Competencies Demonstrates strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair lift trucks, including knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
