Embedded Software Engineer

Software Developer

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, including designing software architecture, writing code, testing for quality, and deploying the software to meet customer requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• Proficiency in MATLAB modeling and Embedded Software development
• Experience in Software Testing, including Unit Testing and Integration Testing
• Hands-on experience in embedded C development
• Solid understanding of hardware testing and low-level debugging
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Experience with hardware
• Knowledge of LIN, CAN, Diagnostics, NVM, HIL testing
• Experience in algorithm design from requirements

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Engage with customers to understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product owners, designers, and architects
• Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, policies, and processes
• Continuously improve performance and optimize the application
