Senior Accountant

Jobot Consulting is seeking a Consulting Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in auditing, managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining the general ledger. Job Details Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year. Hosted by: Morgan Cortez Responsibilities Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations. Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions. Maintain the general ledger, ensuring its accuracy and completeness. Provide expert advice to clients on financial management and operational improvement. Develop and implement financial strategies to support clients' business objectives. Analyze financial data and prepare reports to aid decision-making. Collaborate with clients and team members to identify and resolve accounting issues. Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation to ensure compliance. Qualifications Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior accounting role. Proven experience in audit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree or CPA designation preferred. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Exceptional communication and consulting skills, able to translate complex financial information into understandable terms for clients. Strong organizational skills, managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
