Budget Analyst Senior

The Business & Finance Unit is currently seeking a highly qualified Budget Analyst, Senior. This role reports to the Budget Manager and is responsible for the comprehensive financial management of the agency's resources, including federal funding.

Key responsibilities include:

• Financial Planning and Forecasting: Overseeing financial planning, monitoring, and analysis. This involves collaborating with the Accounts Receivable department to forecast revenue and meeting with fund stewards and program management to project expenditures.
• Fund Health Assessment: Utilizing revenue and expenditure forecasts to determine cash balances and assess the overall financial health of the agency's funds.
• Budgetary Expertise: Providing budgetary expertise for all funds, requiring a thorough understanding of each fund's legislation, history, program scope, and federal funding sources.
• Reporting and Data Integrity: Ensuring data integrity and performing financial and statistical analysis to support reporting for all levels of management.

This position is available for remote work on a full-time basis within Arizona (including virtual office arrangements).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) include:

• Abilities to analyze, interpret, and communicate financial data effectively in individual and group settings.
