Job Category Product Job Details Manager / Senior Manager – Pricing Strategy (Pricing Strategy Team) Overview of the Role We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager to support and drive change for Salesforce products as part of the Pricing Strategy team. The role involves investigating and evaluating pricing and packaging strategies to take advantage of market opportunities to accelerate Salesforce growth. The position offers a unique opportunity to develop cross‑functional, cross‑product expertise in Pricing and Packaging Strategy while working on high priority products and market expansion initiatives. The Director will collaborate with leaders in product and marketing to craft new business models, define strategies for new offerings, optimize packaging & pricing for existing offers, and drive overall monetization. Responsibilities Develop and optimize long‑term pricing and packaging strategies across Product Management, Product Marketing, Go to Market, Sales, and Deal Desk teams. Make data‑driven recommendations using structured problem‑solving frameworks (hypotheses, data analysis, validation, recommendation). Assist product operations in prioritizing launches and creating SKUs that map to the correct product feature set. Identify opportunities to enhance our existing portfolio by combining market, competitive, customer, and stakeholder research. Communicate pricing concepts and recommendations to executive‑level leadership and work with cross‑functional teams to operationalize them. Identify new pricing models while understanding the complexity and implications for the existing base. Build relationships with EVP/SVP level executives and influence senior leaders to gain alignment on recommendations. Required Qualifications 6+ years of relevant working experience. Superior analytical, strategic, communication, and organizational skills. High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to identify and develop solutions to complex problems from strategic and operational perspectives that may cross departments. Clear communication of concepts to multiple audiences. Influence various constituents, including senior management. Deep interest in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and using both to drive decision‑making. Intellectually curious, creative strategic business thinker who loves tackling complex challenges. Comfort working with leaders at all levels. Manage multiple projects at once, prioritizing workloads to meet competing deadlines and stakeholder dynamics. Thrive in high‑growth, performance‑focused environments with frequent change. Design & lead qualitative and quantitative sales and customer research to test pricing & packaging strategy hypotheses. Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent). Bachelor’s degree. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of SaaS Pricing Strategy experience. 2+ years of software technology company experience. Prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, pricing/product strategy, or product management. MBA preferred. Travel up to 10% possible. Benefits and Compensation In the United States, compensation offered will be determined by location, job level, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The typical base salary range for this position is $123,100 - $227,000 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range is $147,400 - $247,900 annually. The range represents base salary only and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable. Benefits include time off programs, medical, dental, vision, mental health support, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and an employee stock purchasing program.
