About the Role

As an Expert Financial Analyst, you'll serve as a subject matter expert responsible for evaluating and improving AI-generated finance content. You'll review financial analyses, validate model outputs, develop real-world business scenarios, and help ensure AI systems produce accurate, practical, and professionally relevant responses.

Your expertise will directly influence how future AI tools support financial planning, investment analysis, forecasting, credit evaluation, and strategic decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing

• Evaluate and validate AI-generated finance content for accuracy, relevance, and practical application.
• Review, compare, and score model responses to support ongoing AI development and refinement.
• Create expert-level explanations and solutions for finance and business scenarios.
• Identify inaccuracies, flawed assumptions, and gaps in AI-generated analysis.
• Provide detailed feedback to improve content quality and financial accuracy.
• Develop realistic finance use cases, business scenarios, and datasets for testing and training purposes.
• Test AI performance against custom finance and investment scenarios.
• Analyze model performance and recommend improvements.
• Follow project guidelines, documentation standards, and quality expectations.
• Deliver high-quality work while meeting project deadlines and milestones.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in finance, corporate finance, investment analysis, banking, FP&A, valuation, or related disciplines.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of: Financial Analysis, Budgeting & Forecasting, Financial Modeling, Investment Analysis, Credit Risk Assessment, Strategic Financial Planning.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Strong analytical thinking, sound business judgment, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree (MBA, Finance, Economics, or related discipline).
• Experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, equity research, valuation, or credit analysis.
• Familiarity with AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), ChatGPT, Copilot, or related technologies.
• Experience creating business cases, financial scenarios, or analytical models.
• Comfort working in a project-based or consulting environment.
• Recent hands-on experience as an individual contributor in a finance-focused role.
• Strong proficiency with modern technology platforms and cloud-based collaboration tools.

Work Environment

This is a 100% remote opportunity offering flexibility and autonomy while contributing to a project at the forefront of AI innovation.

The engagement is expected to run for approximately 12 weeks, with an anticipated commitment of 30-40 hours per week and potential opportunities for extension based on project needs and performance.

You'll collaborate with teams focused on improving AI capabilities while applying the same critical thinking, financial judgment, and analytical rigor you've developed throughout your finance career.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $125.00 - $125.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
