Physical Therapist - School Setting in Elgin, IL

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Physical Therapist. This onsite position provides short-term leave coverage from August 7 through November 3, 2026, with orientation held on August 3 and 4. You'll work part time, three days per week, totaling 22.5 hours, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance.

What You'll Need:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in a school setting or strong interest in pediatric/educational environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working collaboratively with educators and families
• Familiarity with developmental, sensory, and physical needs of school-aged children
• Comfort using standard testing equipment and assessment tools for physical therapy in schools
• Ability to work independently while embracing a team-oriented approach

Your Role on the Team:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students, helping them achieve educational goals
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
• Participate in monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and process improvement initiatives
• Engage in annual performance reviews and ongoing professional development
