DescriptionOur client in East Houston is seeking a Safety Specialist to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a safety professional with strong compliance knowledge, OSHA experience, and a proactive approach to process improvement and workplace safety.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and promote a strong safety culture across the facilityEnsure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsManage OSHA reporting and assist with safety-related projectsConduct safety audits, inspections, and follow-up on corrective actionsIdentify opportunities for process improvements to enhance workplace safetyPartner with operations and leadership to address safety concerns and implement best practicesMaintain accurate safety documentation and reports using MS OfficeScheduleMust be able to work rotating shifts, alternating between days for one month and nights for one monthSchedule includes 10–12-hour shiftsRequired to work only 2 Saturdays per monthOur client is known for being flexible and supportive with family and kid-related eventsRequirementsQualifications3+ years of safety experienceExperience with compliance, OSHA reporting/projects, and safety auditsDemonstrated ability to drive process improvementsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeOSHA 30 required; additional safety certifications are a plusJob typePerm
