Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team in Dyer, IN, 46311. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. If you have a passion for machining and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
- Program CNC machines using G-code and other programming languages.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
