As a Shift Leader, you will have the chance to oversee restaurant activities in the absence of a Manager. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant and upholding our high standards of quality and service. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to work with a talented and enthusiastic team, learning valuable skills along the way.

Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Help oversee restaurant when management is not present
• Assist with training as needed
• Help oversee safety practices during your shift and inform the manager of any safety concerns you observe during your shift.
• Complete assigned duties, such as guest check validation and timely drawer changes
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and presentation of menu items
• Complete all required training courses
• Fill in for vacant positions when necessary
• Embody and promote company values

Physical Requirements

• Extensive standing during peak hours
• Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, and cold
• Ability to work some irregular hours
• Bending, reaching, and walking
• Operating cash register
• Carrying trays of food products
• Ability to lift up to 20lbs

Qualifications Standards

• Good communication skills
• Guest-oriented personality
• Knowledge of restaurant operations
• Good physical condition due to the nature of the job
• Basic math skills required
• Knowledge of all job codes
• Compliance with health regulations regarding food handling
