As a Shift Leader, you will have the chance to oversee restaurant activities in the absence of a Manager. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant and upholding our high standards of quality and service. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to work with a talented and enthusiastic team, learning valuable skills along the way.
Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Help oversee restaurant when management is not present
- Assist with training as needed
- Help oversee safety practices during your shift and inform the manager of any safety concerns you observe during your shift.
- Complete assigned duties, such as guest check validation and timely drawer changes
- Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and presentation of menu items
- Complete all required training courses
- Fill in for vacant positions when necessary
- Embody and promote company values
Physical Requirements
- Extensive standing during peak hours
- Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, and cold
- Ability to work some irregular hours
- Bending, reaching, and walking
- Operating cash register
- Carrying trays of food products
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs
Qualifications Standards
- Good communication skills
- Guest-oriented personality
- Knowledge of restaurant operations
- Good physical condition due to the nature of the job
- Basic math skills required
- Knowledge of all job codes
- Compliance with health regulations regarding food handling
- Must complete all training, anti-discrimination & anti-harassment training and embrace our company's nondiscrimination & anti-harassment policies and values
