Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $80,000-110,000

Position Overview

The Practice Manager leads the daily operations of a large medical office, ensuring efficient, compliant, and patient-centered care delivery. This role oversees staff, financial performance, and process improvement across clinical and administrative functions. The position collaborates closely with physician partners and multidisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of service and operational excellence. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and support functions to ensure efficiency and quality care.

• Develop and implement office policies and workflows to optimize patient experience and compliance.
\n
• Coordinate provider schedules, operating room time, and ancillary services such as imaging and physical therapy.
\n
• Manage inventory and supplies, including orthopedic-specific equipment and implants.
\n
• Recruit, hire, and supervise front office, billing, and clinical support staff, fostering a collaborative team culture.
\n
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and revenue cycle metrics to ensure financial health and compliance.
\n
• Address patient concerns and implement strategies to improve satisfaction and service quality.
\n
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
\n
• Oversee EHR and practice management systems, using data to guide operational decisions and improvements.
\n

Required Experience/Skills

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
\n
• 3–5+ years of healthcare management experience, ideally in an orthopedic or specialty practice.
\n
• Proven ability to manage a large, multi-provider medical office or clinic.
\n
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Proficiency with EHR and practice management software; strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
\n

Preferred Experience/Skills

\n
• Experience with orthopedic terminology, procedures, and workflows.
\n
• Background in revenue cycle management and payer contract discussions.
\n
• Familiarity with quality improvement and patient safety programs.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Demonstrated success in staff development and team building.
\n

Education Requirements

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required.
\n
• Master’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred.
\n
• Continuing education in healthcare management or compliance beneficial.
\n
• Training in EHR systems and data analytics preferred.
\n
• Certification in medical practice management (e.g., CMPE) a plus.
\n
