Fabricator

Position Summary Responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and maintaining fixtures, building guards, and other safety-related equipment. This role requires precision fabrication skills, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools. The fabricator will interpret technical drawings, operate fabrication equipment, and ensure all products meet quality and safety specifications. Responsibilities Interpret and follow engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for tool room fixtures, building guards, and safety equipment. Measure, mark, cut, bend, and assemble components (plastics, steel, aluminum, etc.) to exact specifications. Fabricate and install building and manufacturing fixtures and other safety-related items. Maintain and repair existing fixtures, guards, and equipment as needed. Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company safety procedures. Keep the work area clean, organized, and in compliance with 6S/5S workplace standards. Document work performed and assist in continuous improvement initiatives. Other duties as needed, including maintenance activities. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training in metal fabrication, welding, or manufacturing is preferred. Certified Welder (AWS, CW, etc.) or other relevant certifications preferred not required. Experience: 1–2 years in a related field. Skills: Proficiency in operating lathes and Bridgeport and familiarity with CAD/CAM software is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work with precision measuring tools and tool room equipment. Physical stamina, good dexterity, and color vision for safety-related work. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, safety‑critical environment. Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule Competitive Compensation: Pay Range $23.4/hr to $40.1/hr; Participation in Annual Incentive Program.
