CT/X-Ray Technologist

Full-time CT/X-Ray technologist in Sedona, AZ. Performs high-quality CT and X-ray imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Supports a collaborative team in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Operate and maintain CT and X-ray equipment, ensuring proper function and troubleshooting any issues.
• Assist with patient positioning to ensure optimal imaging results.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and medical staff to provide the best possible care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all imaging data is properly documented.
• Adhere to safety standards, infection control protocols, and radiation safety guidelines.
• Provide compassionate patient care, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Certification in CT and X-ray through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Arizona State Radiologic Technologist license required.
• Strong understanding of imaging techniques, equipment operation, and patient care protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in performing CT and X-ray procedures.
