Senior Construction Litigation Attorney

Kubicki Draper is seeking an experiencedSenior Construction Litigation Attorneywith7+ years of litigation experienceto join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling complex construction-related disputes and managing matters through all phases of litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney looking to take a lead role on cases while working in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

• 7+ years of litigation experience, with a strong background in construction litigation
• Experience handling matters involving construction defects, contractor and subcontractor disputes, property damage, contract disputes, and related claims preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Significant experience handling discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and motion practice
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
• Strong organizational and case-management skills
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service
• Active member of the Florida Bar and in good standing

Your Day-to-Day

• Manage complex construction litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution
• Develop case strategy and provide clients with clear recommendations regarding exposure, defenses, and resolution options
• Draft and argue substantive motions, pleadings, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings
• Work with experts, consultants, contractors, and other professionals throughout the litigation process
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case developments and strategy
• Mentor and collaborate with junior attorneys and members of the litigation team
