Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

You will assist the Registered Nurse in implementing the plan of care for a group of patients and provide quality patient care, modeling behavior exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values. What you will do Contribute to the nursing assessment by collecting, reporting, and recording objective and subjective data. Provide direct care in a safe manner. Evaluate the plan of care on a continuous basis. Effectively communicate in writing and orally with patients/families and other health team members. Participate in activities designed to improve health care delivery in assigned area. Education/Formal Training Requirements Required - Technical Degree or Diploma Nursing Supervision Provided by this Position There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this position. Physical Demands Physical activities may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. Requires exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently. Requires close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform tasks such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading. Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact. Exposure to patient body fluids as well as hazardous or poisonous materials. Ability to react quickly to emergency situations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
