R&D Assistant (Chemistry)

Job Title: R&D Assistant Location: Montvale, NJ Contract: 12 Months Pay Range: $28 - $32 hourly What’s the Job? Support the development and formulation of new products and technologies based on consumer insights and brand initiatives. Assist with product development projects and serve as an R&D representative throughout the development process. Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and R&D to achieve project milestones and objectives. Conduct product performance evaluations, testing, and analysis while maintaining accurate documentation and laboratory records. Perform laboratory bench work, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and follow SOP, ISO, GLP, and safety protocols. What’s Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Materials Science, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline. 0-2 years of laboratory, R&D, product development, formulation, or related scientific experience. Understanding of formulation principles, chemical interactions, and laboratory testing techniques. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience working with SOPs, GLP, ISO standards, Microsoft Office applications, and cross-functional teams is preferred. What’s in it for me?
