The Role
- Provide clinical leadership, uphold medical standards, and champion quality care across the hospital
- Deliver general practice services including preventive care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, and urgent-care cases
- Utilize in-house diagnostics, digital radiography, ultrasound, and dental imaging to inform treatment plans
- Mentor veterinarians and support staff; foster a culture of learning, accountability, and teamwork
- Partner with practice leadership on protocols, workflow efficiency, and client experience initiatives
- Support recruitment, training, and scheduling to meet patient demand and team well-being goals
- Communicate clearly with clients, ensuring understanding and trust in treatment recommendations

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- License to practice (or eligibility for licensure) in Oregon
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong communication skills with a client-centered approach; leadership interest or experience preferred
