Description American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT-T and TRT certification for a hospital Radiation Oncology department on day shift. Details Radiation Oncology department setting Delivers prescribed radiation therapy treatments per physician orders and diagnosis charts Requirements ARRT registration in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) required Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification (TRT) required License required if applicable Bachelor's Degree in radiological technology or equivalent preferred BLS certification preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty required, 3 years for ER, ICU, Cath Lab, and OR Recent experience within the last 3 months in the specialty required EPIC and Cerner experience must be documented in employment history if applicable Additional Information Explains treatment procedures and communication methods to patients prior to therapy Prepares treatment room and equipment, including immobilization devices, and positions patients on treatment couch Observes patients for unusual reactions or complications during treatment and reports findings to supervisor and physician Maintains and reviews treatment records and patient charts for accuracy May provide clinical supervision and evaluation of students Required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered No radius rule in place; local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travel candidates These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
