Sales specialists collaborate closely with the agent and team to deliver solutions that support customers’ long-term financial well-being.Role Description This full-time Sales Specialist role is a hybrid position based in Huntsville, AL, with a mix of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Sales Specialist will engage with prospects and existing customers to understand their needs, present appropriate insurance and financial service options, and close sales. Daily activities include making outbound calls, responding to inbound inquiries, scheduling and conducting consultations, preparing quotes, and processing new policies or changes. The role also involves providing ongoing customer service, following up on leads, maintaining accurate records in the agency management system, and supporting marketing campaigns. The Sales Specialist will collaborate with team members, participate in training and coaching sessions, and contribute to meeting individual and agency sales goals.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with diverse customers and build long-term relationships.Candidates should possess proven Sales abilities, including prospecting, needs-based selling, and closing skills in an insurance or similar environment.Candidates should possess experience in Training and Sales Management, or a willingness to develop in these areas, to support team performance and continuous improvement.Candidates should possess basic computer proficiency, comfort with CRM or agency management systems, and the ability to learn new tools quickly.Relevant qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred), eligibility to obtain required state insurance licenses, and a results-oriented mindset.Additional beneficial qualities include integrity, reliability, problem-solving skills, resilience in a fast-paced sales environment, and willingness to work occasional extended hours based on customer needs.
