Candidates must be located in Iowa or willing to relocate independently, as no relocation assistance is available for this position.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily production activities on the 1st shift, ensuring output targets and quality standards are metSupervise, coach, and develop a team of production associatesMonitor workflow and adjust staffing or priorities to maintain efficiencyEnforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, compliant work environmentCoordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to resolve operational issuesTrack and report key production metrics to plant managementSupport continuous improvement initiatives on the floorManage attendance, scheduling, and performance documentation for direct reportsQualifications3 or more years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated ability to lead and hold accountable a team of hourly employeesFamiliarity with standard manufacturing practices, safety regulations, and quality systemsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsProficiency with basic production reporting tools or manufacturing softwareHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor'sdegree preferredWhy Consider This OpportunityOur client is an established manufacturing operation offering stable employment, a defined shift schedule, and direct visibility into plant leadership.
