Accounting Clerk

We are a southwest suburban Chicago non-profit who is the business of saving and sheltering animals, seeking a talented Accounting Clerk to join our team. Pets welcome! In addition to your being able to bring man's best friend, we offer a full plate of benefits including:

We are looking for an immediate addition to the team and are interviewing immediately.

Duties include:

Reconcile cash drawers daily
Prepare deposits for the bank
3 way A/P matching including some coding with a volume of 25-40 bi weekly
Oversee positive pay system to reconcile disbursements between bank and A/P ledger
Oversee payroll for a 40 employee bi-weekly payroll via Paylocity (automated time clock system that feeds Paylocity)
Assist when short on cashiers, potential weekends if busy
Assist with reconciling donor program to match against the GL
Utilize SAGE 50 and in house CRM
