Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Physical Therapist — Danbury, CT (Hospital) Join a hospital-based acute care team in Danbury, CT as a traveling Physical Therapist. Provide evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and deliver patient and family education for patients including those with neurological conditions. Complete timely documentation and participate in discharge planning. The role supports acute care interventions and other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Connecticut Physical Therapist license required prior to the start of the assignment. BLS certification required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist. Experience working with patients with neurological conditions. Preferred Qualifications Experience in acute care hospital settings preferred. Assignment Details Shift hours: 0700 to 1530. Work schedule: Monday through Friday, may include rotating weekends and holidays. Position requires acute care practice focusing on neurological patients.
