Treasury Management Senior Manager

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Senior Manager, Treasury Management Services (TMS) is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations, service delivery, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the Bank's Treasury Management and Online Banking platforms. This role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, superior customer service, and effective team leadership while driving process optimization and technology enhancements. The Senior Manager partners with Information Technology, Operations, Compliance, and business units to improve workflows, enhance the client experience, and collaborate with TMS & IBG Product Managers to leverage emerging technologies, and automation tools, to increase efficiency, scalability, and service quality.

Leadership & Department Management

• Lead and manage Treasury Management Services operations, implementations, client onboarding, training, technical support, and customer service activities.
• Supervise, coach, and develop department staff to ensure high performance, employee engagement, business continuity, and succession readiness.
• Manage team workload, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure adequate coverage and timely service delivery.
• Establish performance expectations, monitor productivity, and implement strategies to improve operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for treasury management and online banking products and services.

Operations & Service Delivery

• Oversee daily Treasury Management and Online Banking operations to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Conduct ongoing reviews of online banking systems, workflows, and operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement solutions that enhance service quality, improve response times, and streamline customer support processes.
• Utilize internal and external resources to minimize service disruptions and communicate significant issues and recommendations to senior management.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all treasury management and digital banking products, services, and related operational procedures.

Process Improvement & Technology Enhancement

• Help to evaluate and assist online banking and treasury management system enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality.
• Partner closely with manager and internal departments for new products, services, and system enhancements.
• Help support user acceptance testing (UAT), quality assurance activities, and validation efforts to ensure secure and successful implementation of technology initiatives.
• Must have the skills and abilities to identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and scalability while leveraging emerging technologies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve employee effectiveness, knowledge management, reporting, and customer experience.
• Utilize business intelligence and performance metrics to identify trends, monitor service levels, and support informed decision-making.
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the department.

Compliance, Risk Management & Audit

• Ensure compliance with all applicable banking regulations, Bank policies, BSA/AML requirements, and operational risk controls.
• Establish, revise, and maintain departmental policies, procedures, workflows, and forms.
• Support internal and external audits, examinations, and compliance reviews while ensuring timely remediation of findings.
• Monitor operational risk and implement controls to safeguard customer information and Bank assets.
• Maintain strong governance practices related to treasury management systems and digital banking services.

Training & Development

• Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to department staff on treasury management products, digital banking services, operational processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop training materials and procedures to support onboarding, process improvements, and technology enhancements.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with the Bank's compliance programs and applicable laws and regulations.
• Complete all required compliance, BSA/AML, regulatory, and professional development training within established deadlines.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualification & Pre-requisites

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required.
• Must have 7+ years of online banking, banking operations, or equivalent experience.
• Must have 5+ years of previous management responsibilities
• Extensive knowledge of online banking, information technology, and operational procedures
• Strong analytical ability to use logic and reasoning to solve problems.
• Superior customer service and phone etiquette.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to adapt to change and the ability to learn quickly.
• Strong technical and organizational skills to support the full suite of products and services.
• The ability to manage workflow and complete projects within the allotted timeframes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to take ownership of client requests and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently yet closely with other staff.
• Advanced skill and proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

• Minimum mobility to work in an office setting; sit for prolonged period of times; operate office equipment including use of a computer keyboard; and reach with hands and arms. Employees are occasionally required to walk and stand and lift and move records and documents weighing 30 pounds or less.

• Attention to detail, strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, self-motivated, and analytical skills, ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

• Standard office environment. Noise level in work environment is usually average. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Travel is required.

COMPENSATION:

The base pay range for this position is USD $120,000.00/Yr. - USD $165,000.00/Yr plus full benefits. Exact offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
