Sales Executive - Needed for Independent Hunting of New Accounts Work Type: Full Time, In-Market Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 1st year on-target earnings Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, Telemedicine, IRA w/Matching, Corporate Chaplain, Counseling Services, 8 paid holidays, 3 weeks PTO Location: Houston, TX Who are we looking for? The successful Sales Executive candidate will be a proactive, outgoing, and charismatic individual who can build new relationships, read people accurately, and enthusiastically take on challenges. The person we are looking for is adept at creating alignment between all parties and cooperating toward a mutually beneficial outcome. The successful candidate must be most comfortable generating business independently and finding creative ways to pursue their professional goals in alignment with Velo's values. Interested? Here is what you will be doing: The Sales Executive is responsible for developing new client relationships in their assigned territory. The Sales Executive should be able to independently bring new client relationships to the table. Once ramped up, this will translate to approximately two new Managed IT Services agreements per month. Ownership of your assigned territory will involve being an influential part of your local community, well-connected with business leaders in your target market, and exhibiting professional omnipresence in industry and market-specific circles such as peer and trade groups where appropriate. Entrepreneurial led businesses (typically with 20-200 employees) are the target demographic for Velo's Managed Services program. Working to set first-time appointments with prospective clients, the Sales Executive is responsible for meeting each week with businesses leaders to share perspectives on improved results, best practices, and how our unique approach, The Velo Method, accelerates our client’s leverage of technology.
