Job Responsibilities
  • Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and craft personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional objectives.
  • Implement Therapeutic Practices: Apply evidence-based methods to enhance patients' mobility, cognitive capabilities, and daily living tasks.
  • Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Engage with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide holistic, patient-centered care.
  • Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their families about therapy techniques to encourage continued progress at home.
  • Track and Assess Progress: Monitor patient development and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep them on their recovery path.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Further education and post-graduate certifications highly encouraged and supported.
Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory.
