As a dedicated 1:1 nurse, you'll build a strong therapeutic relationship while delivering consistent, individualized care throughout the academic year.

Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN/LVN license in Michigan
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to respond efficiently in emergent situations
• Strong communication skills, collaborating with students, staff, and families
• Ability to commit to a contracted, full school day schedule

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one nursing care for a high school-aged student, following their care plan closely
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Conduct routine assessments and monitor for any health status changes
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation on all care provided
• Act as an advocate for the student, ensuring their health and well-being at school
• Partner with educators, therapists, and parents for a team-based approach to the student’s overall support
