Prep Cook/Dishwasher – PM Shift

Location: Edwards, Colorado 81632

Work Arrangement: On-Site

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 12:00 PM – Close, with weekend availability required

Reports To: Executive Chef

All Points North (APN) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team at our Edwards location. In this role, you will support our kitchen operations by preparing high-quality ingredients, maintaining exceptional food safety standards, and ensuring our kitchen remains clean, organized, and fully operational.

Prep Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients and food items according to established recipes, menus, and culinary standards as directed by the Culinary Manager
• Assist in preparing menu items with attention to both design and taste quality
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and comply with all food safety and Health Department guidelines
• Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure proper operation
• Contribute creative ideas and suggestions to improve kitchen performance and efficiency
• Handle food preparation with care, ensuring top-quality results for clients and staff across multiple meal periods and snacks

Dishwashing & Kitchen Sanitation Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, well-organized, and sanitary kitchen environment at all times
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment following established procedures
• Keep floors dry, clean, and free of hazards; sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen and dishwashing areas
• Adhere to all sanitation guidelines and health code requirements
• Manage trash removal and ensure proper disposal and recycling procedures
• Monitor chemical levels and maintain dishwashing inventory
• Load and unload the commercial dishwasher efficiently
• Identify and remove broken or chipped items from circulation; update inventory records as needed
• Close and sanitize workstations at the end of each shift

General Responsibilities:

• Communicate professionally and collaboratively with kitchen staff and supervisors
• Follow all established procedures, safety protocols, and scheduling requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support team operations and APN's mission

• Ability to communicate respectfully and work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions, food safety procedures, and established kitchen workflows
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work the required PM schedule, including weekends
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Familiarity with industry best practices and sanitation standards
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

• 3+ years of culinary experience in a high-end food service establishment
• Culinary degree or professional certification
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and food preparation techniques
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment and dishwashing systems
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills
