The firm is known for its integrity and unwavering commitment to exceeding clients’ expectations.POSITION SUMMARY & PURPOSEThe Financial Analyst supports the Controller in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department, with particular emphasis on account reconciliation, tabular and graphical analysis, and process implementation and documentation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWrite and debug programs for processing trading data on a daily and monthly basisMaintain bank account reconciliations and implement process improvementsSupport the creation and maintenance of various accounting schedules (depreciation, lease liabilities, prepaids, etc.)Manage the usage of programs and assist with resolving errorsAssist with implementation and maintenance of connections with external platformsLeverage AI and other technology tools to develop and maintain accounting processesReconcile firm credit card activityAssist with the reconciliation of monthly general ledger accountsMaintain daily and monthly account reconciliationsAll other duties as assignedMANAGEMENT & DECISION MAKING RESPONSIBILITIESN/AKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS1 year or more years of finance experienceMust have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), programming (Python, VBA), and computational and statistical data analysis1 year or more years of Broker Dealer experience highly preferredProficiency with accounting software (Oracle preferred)Detail and deadline oriented with excellent time management skillsExperience using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) to assist with task tracking, collaboration, and timely completion of deliverables.Ability to multi-task projectsEDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, and/or Computer Science, Information Technology (preferred)REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATESSIEWork Authorization Requirement: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
