Studio Manager

Location: On-site, based across our University Park and Devonshire locations in Dallas. STUDIO MANAGER The Studio Manager is the operational heartbeat of our two locations. This role exists because a boutique studio only feels boutique when someone is holding the standard — the cleanliness, the rotation, the team, the client experience, the numbers — at the same time, every day. You are not running a schedule. You are running a studio. You are the person clients ask for when something is wrong and the person the team looks to when something is going right. You own retention. You own the room. You coach the front desk through their first hard conversation, you walk the floor before the 6am class, and you know which clients are about to lapse before the report tells you. We are known for high-energy classes, a welcoming community, and an elevated client experience from the moment someone walks through the door. Role Overview We are looking for a steady, hands-on Studio Manager to lead daily operations and all studio staff across both locations. This person will be responsible for overseeing instructors, front desk staff, and studio coordinators; managing hiring and scheduling; setting clear expectations; and creating a consistent, professional, high-accountability studio environment. Key Responsibilities People and Leadership Hire, train, and lead all studio staff including instructors, front desk staff, and coordinators with clear expectations, direct coaching, and ongoing performance feedback Serve as the primary day-to-day leader for both the instructor team and the front-of-house team, setting standards and holding everyone accountable Run consistent one-on-ones and team huddles to align on priorities, standards, and performance Handle staffing, performance, attendance, and basic HR issues in partnership with ownership Instructor Leadership, Hiring, and Scheduling Act as the primary leader for the instructor team on day-to-day operations, expectations, and communication Own instructor class scheduling and sub management across both studios Lead the hiring process for new instructors including sourcing, auditions, and references, with final decisions made in partnership with ownership Address instructor performance concerns directly and professionally, documenting issues and partnering with ownership Front Desk and Coordinator Leadership Own hiring, onboarding, and scheduling for front desk staff and studio coordinators Coach front-of-house staff on check-in standards, sales behaviors, follow-ups, and service expectations Address performance, attendance, and accountability issues promptly and consistently Operations and Client Experience Own day-to-day studio operations including openings, closings, checklists, cleanliness, and the overall client experience on the floor Ensure the front desk is consistently executing scripts, follow-ups, and service standards every shift Solve problems in real time when issues arise including last-minute instructor changes, unhappy clients, and schedule or tech glitches Sales and Performance Drive membership and package sales by coaching the team on sales behaviors and tracking results Monitor key metrics such as intro conversions, rebooking, reviews, and show rate, and take action when numbers slip Support member challenges, themed events, and local marketing to grow and retain the client base Systems and Communication Use tools such as Mindbody, scheduling apps, and task systems to keep schedules, tasks, and communication organized Collaborate closely with ownership on priorities and follow through without needing constant reminders Document and improve processes so the studios run consistently even when not on site You Are a Fit If You Have 2 to 4 or more years of experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality, retail, fitness, or a similar client-facing environment Are comfortable leading a team with mixed ages and experience levels and can give frequent, direct, respectful feedback Have the presence and follow-through to lead both instructors and front-of-house staff as the clear day-to-day manager Love a fast-paced, client-facing environment and do not mind being on the floor most of the day Are organized and detail-oriented with strengths in checklists, schedules, hiring follow-through, and accountability Can have direct conversations about attendance, performance, and boundaries while staying calm and professional Are tech-comfortable with email, Google Workspace, scheduling platforms, and Mindbody or similar software Are available for a mix of early mornings, evenings, and weekends based on studio needs Nice to Have Boutique fitness or Pilates and Barre studio experience Experience managing instructors or group fitness staff Experience opening a location, scaling a team, or operating across more than one site Compensation and Perks Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Quarterly performance bonus opportunity Complimentary classes and retail discounts Growth opportunities as the brand expands #J-18808-Ljbffr
