Fabrication Welder


Pay: $17-$20/hour DOE
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Location: Bossier City, LA 71111
Experience: 3-5 years required

Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Welder to join a growing team in Bossier City, LA. This position is ideal for a skilled welder who is comfortable working from drawings and measurements to fabricate, fit, and weld metal components.


Candidates must have 3-5 years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience and be able to work independently while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication of metal components and assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials accurately
• Perform MIG welding and other welding processes as required
• Use grinders, saws, cutting equipment, and common fabrication tools
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts for quality and accuracy
• Maintain proper fit-up, alignment, and weld appearance
• Follow shop safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Complete projects according to production schedules and specifications

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of welding/fabrication experience required
• Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Ability to read and work from blueprints or fabrication drawings
• Experience with cutting, grinding, fitting, and metal preparation
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical fabrication work throughout the shift

Compensation & Schedule


This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with a consistent 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule. Pay ranges from $17-$20 per hour , depending on welding and fabrication experience.
