Job Description
A local company in Shreveport is seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join its team. This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 40-hour workweek and occasional weekend work based on production needs.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience, be comfortable working in a fabrication/industrial environment, and be able to consistently produce clean, quality welds.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience, be comfortable working in a fabrication/industrial environment, and be able to consistently produce clean, quality welds.
Job Duties
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal components
- Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal parts and materials
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, measurements, and work instructions
- Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
- Use grinders, saws, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment
- Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow established safety procedures and proper PPE requirements
- Assist with other fabrication and shop duties as needed
- Previous MIG and TIG welding experience required
- Strong understanding of welding and fabrication techniques
- Ability to read a tape measure and work from measurements
- Blueprint reading experience preferred
- Comfortable using grinders, hand tools, and fabrication equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work occasional weekends when needed
- Monday-Friday
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
