Job Type: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Bossier City. This is a full-time, day-shift position responsible for fabricating metal components and performing MIG and/or TIG welding based on blueprints and specifications. Job Type: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Bossier City. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and takes pride in high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on various metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions
- Fabricate metal parts using shears, brakes, saws, and other fabrication tools
- Inspect welds and finished products for quality and precision
- Grind, sand, or polish metal surfaces to prepare for welding or finishing
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Maintain tools and equipment and keep work area clean and organized
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- 2+ years of welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Proficient in MIG and/or TIG welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiar with fabrication tools such as grinders, plasma cutters, and brakes
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- High school diploma or equivalent required; welding certification a plus
- Consistent weekday schedule (no weekends!)
