Job Description Are you looking to join a company at the forefront of innovation and transformation? Look no further than Talan! Talan is looking for a Master Agreement negotiator to support a major financial client in New York. The role involves negotiating standard trading agreements and requires knowledge of relevant financial regulations. The candidate will report to the Americas COO and the Global Head of Master Agreements, joining a small team within a larger client department. Role and responsibilities Conduct capacity and authority checks, as well as review of netting and collateral opinions Draft, negotiate, and execute a high-volume portfolio of Master Agreements Analyze client markups efficiently and coordinate timely deviation approvals internally Collaborate with internal teams across legal, risk, compliance, tax, operations, and collateral management Liaise with a wide range of counterparties: corporates, banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and insurers Coordinate closely with Front Office teams and the Chief Client Office Track KPIs to meet timelines and volume targets

Qualifications Qualifications 5+ years negotiating Master Agreements (ISDA, MRA, GMRA, MSLA, CDEA, etc.) within a large financial institution Strong understanding of netting, collateral rules, legal opinions, and regulatory frameworks (Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID, BRRD) Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex documentation efficiently Results-driven with a focus on responsiveness, KPI targets, and high-quality client delivery Strong communicator and collaborative team player, both locally and globally Resilient and self-motivated, able to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment At Talan, we invest in our employees' well-being and empower them with benefits, including: Salary range for this role is US$90,000 - US$140,000 401(k) retirement plan with company matching 15 days of paid vacation per year at hire and up to 27 according to seniority (annual untaken vacation days are cashed out) 8 paid holidays + 5 sick days + 2 personal days per year
