Job Title Registered Nurse - Cardiac Tele @ UNMC - Nebraska Medical Center Shift Details Shift: Night – 12×4 (07:00 PM) Scheduled Hours: 48 per week Duration 13 weeks (06/08/2026 – 09/07/2026) Pay Weekly Pay: $3026.00 Responsibilities Provide nursing care for cardiovascular patients in a fast‑paced Cardiac Telemetry unit. Care for specialty patients such as stable heart and lung transplant recipients and support patients with ventricular assist devices (LVADs). Maintain appropriate nurse‑to‑patient ratios (1:5 day, 1:6 night, and 1:7 night in rare circumstances). Float within scope to meet facility needs, including floating to different units as required. Adhere to RTO submission policies (up to 2 weeks in advance; first week not allowed), and complete mandatory lab work within required timeframe. Complete all contracts on a Sunday for compliance purposes. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital. EPIC charting experience required. RN license required with BLS and ACLS certifications (NIH, CPI preferred). Prepared to float frequently and travel 4 weekend shifts (out of 8) in a 4‑week period.
