Job Description
Surgical Tech - Client/ENT
Profession: Surgical Services

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour; Night 4x10-Hour
Hours per Shift: 10 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Surgical Tech experience required; Level 1 Trauma experience highly preferred
License: BLS required
Certifications: NBSTSA


Must-Have:
Experience with General Surgery, Endo/Laparoscopic, Bariatrics, Neuro procedures required
Experience with Oncology and Ortho procedures highly preferred
DaVinci experience highly preferred
First-time travelers not accepted


Description:
Surgical Tech for day shift with possible night shift rotation in Neuro Surgery.
Procedures include Anterior cervical fusion, Cervical fusion, Craniotomy, Insertion of VP shunt, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion, ALIF, XLIF, Kyphoplasty.
In the Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) specialty, procedures include Endoscopic sinus procedures, Septoplasty/Rhinoplasty, Mastoidectomy/Tympanoplasty/Stapedectomy, Radical neck dissection, Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, Tracheostomy.
There is a possibility for off-shifting of 1-3 shifts in a week once every 4-week scheduling period.
Call requirements include 1-2 weeknight calls on average and weekend call every 4-5 weekends.
Facility has 30 rooms and performs 60-80 cases per day.
Candidate must be more than 100 miles from the facility.
Travelers are not paid the same as core staff members.
All contracts must end on a Sunday, and work week is Monday-Sunday.
This facility is 100% nicotine free.
Requested time off must be included at the time of submission.
