Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual psychotherapy tailored to address mental health concerns of clients undergoing substance abuse treatment.

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients’ histories, needs, and set appropriate treatment goals.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans employing solution-focused interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Maintain accurate documentation of clinical records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure integrated and coordinated client care.

• Educate clients and their families on available mental health resources and strategies for substance abuse recovery.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying updated on the latest research methodologies and interventions.

• Manage a full caseload, ensuring timely progress of each client's treatment and adherence to ethical standards in clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults dealing with substance abuse issues, many of whom may also be experiencing co-occurring mental health disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and your role will involve tailoring interventions to best support individuals in various life circumstances. Empathy, cultural competence, and a trauma-informed perspective are crucial in providing effective support.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LICSW license in Massachusetts.

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience specifically in substance abuse therapy or related fields.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and treatment planning.

• Proficient in documentation and familiarity with healthcare compliance regulations.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
