What your day looks like

When production keeps moving, you’re the reason why. You’ll zero in on faults using schematics, manuals, and drawings; resolve complex electro‑mechanical issues; and apply disciplined preventive maintenance to keep equipment reliable and safe.

What you’ll tackle

• Diagnose and repair production and plant equipment with minimal supervision, including electrical troubleshooting and electro‑mechanical repairs.
• Pinpoint failed components and submit accurate requisitions using correct part nomenclature; know what’s in the storerooms and follow withdrawal/return procedures.
• Apply general machine shop know‑how; operate standard hand tools, motorized equipment, and basic shop machinery safely and efficiently.
• Lead by example on assigned tasks, supporting a team‑oriented, cross‑functional environment.
• Maintain thorough records and follow established maintenance procedures; uphold a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
• Own additional shift‑specific duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor; pitch in on other tasks as needed.

• Technical knowledge: Possess advanced understanding from concept through commercialization.
• Operate equipment: Confidently run motorized/peripheral equipment; utilize standard hand tools; operate basic machine shop equipment.
• Maintenance & repair: Demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude and a thorough grasp of production technologies and equipment capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical pretest prior to employment; must pass a multi‑choice with handwritten section test.
• Vocational/trade education in electro‑mechanical coursework (preferred).
• Proficiency with precision instruments, including micrometers and calipers.
• Clear speaking/presentation skills to conduct effective meetings.

• Possess an adequate ability to do problem solving and establish cause and effect relationships in an office and/or manufacturing environment.
