As a Security Officer Patrol Documentation in Fredericksburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will contribute through teamwork while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following hospital and clinic access guidelines, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity while assisting staff, patients, and guests with directions, access questions, and other security-related concerns.
• Support a professional healthcare location by communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed and helping with traffic, access control, and incident response procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
