Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN – Georgia Start Date: September 14, 2026 Location: Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment with call requirements including 1 weekend per month and 1-2 weekdays per week. Orientation includes 36 hours. Holiday coverage required per facility policy. Highlights: Comprehensive cardiac catheterization lab experience with both diagnostic and interventional procedures Work with advanced cardiac procedures including PCI, PTCA, cardiac stent placement, IABP, Impella insertion, and rotablator atherectomy Epic charting system utilized facility-wide Floating within facility/scope of practice may be required to affiliated locations as needed Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off available Community hospital setting with trauma experience preferred Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience required Previous travel nursing experience required; facility does not accept first-time travelers Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI or RCIS Proficiency in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures Experience with left and right heart catheterization, scrubbing and maintaining sterile field, and room circulator duties Strong knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias Full compliance documentation required prior to start date Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers experienced cardiac cath lab nurses the opportunity to work with a comprehensive range of advanced cardiac procedures in a community hospital setting.
