Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment available in Watertown, NY. This 13-week assignment is for the night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am) with a weekly pay range of $2,413 to $2,514 and a 36-hour guaranteed week. The role is an ER nursing position within an emergency department setting, requiring travel experience and active clinical credentials. Start date is 09/28/2026. Key Highlights Location: Watertown, NY Start date: 09/28/2026 Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night (7:00 pm–7:00 am) Weekly pay: $2,413 to $2,514 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Setting: Emergency department in an acute-care environment Credentialing: Fast credentialing processes available Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to ED patients, prioritizing stabilization of life‑threatening conditions and timely interventions Perform clinical duties including IV starts, medication administration, phlebotomy, and monitoring of patient status Document care and treatment using the MEDITECH electronic health record system; communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and ancillary staff; participate in patient and family education as appropriate Demonstrate leadership as needed, with the ability to assume charge nurse duties when assigned Maintain safety for patients and staff, including safe patient handling and adherence to infection control practices Requirements Current New York State RN license BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required MEDITECH experience required Travel nursing experience required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Critical Care and charge nurse experience preferred Ability to identify and intervene in life‑threatening situations; strong clinical judgment Proficiency in IV therapy, medication administration, and phlebotomy during orientation Must be able to work in a high‑pressure ED setting; effective communication and teamwork skills Must successfully complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and obtain defibrillation certification within six months of employment Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the contract Fast credentialing and orientation assistance Competitive weekly pay, paid per week 13-week assignment with a guaranteed 36 hours per week Access to nationwide assignments and ongoing career support Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
