Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) | Travel Contract Location: Watertown, NY 13601 Contract: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | 8-Hour Days

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

Current Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) - REQUIRED Previous Travel Surgical Technologist experience - REQUIRED Orthopedic/Ortho surgical experience - REQUIRED Recent surgical scrubbing experience - REQUIRED Da Vinci / Robotic surgical experience - REQUIRED Current BLS certification - REQUIRED Operating Room (OR) experience with sterile technique, surgical instruments, and OR equipment Knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of OR equipment Schedule & Assignment Requirements Holiday coverage required Call coverage required Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes when called in 100-mile radius rule applies Candidates must be available for the full 13-week assignment Role Responsibilities The Surgical Technologist will work as part of the Operating Room team under the direct supervision of an RN and will be responsible for: Maintaining the sterile field throughout surgical procedures Preparing, organizing, and handling surgical instruments and equipment Performing surgical scrub responsibilities Assisting surgeons and the OR team during procedures Ensuring appropriate sterile technique and OR readiness Performing technical duties related to surgical proceduresSupporting cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection processes for OR equipment May be required to precept or orient new staff Ideal Candidate Seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong OR, Orthopedic, Surgical Scrub, and Da Vinci/Robotic experience who is comfortable working a travel assignment and participating in weekend, holiday, and call coverage .
