White Glove Detailing in Macedonia, OH is seeking a motivated and meticulous Car Washer / Exterior Detailer to join our team! If you have a passion for making vehicles shine and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you.

Location: 7791 Capital Blvd Suite #7 Macedonia, OH 44056

Hours: Part-time, 4-6 hours per day or full-time 6-8 hours per day

Pay: $15 per hour, experience preferred

About the Role:

As a Car Washer / Exterior Detailer, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers' vehicles receive a thorough and high-quality exterior cleaning. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys independent, focused work. Most of the day is spent on the vehicle in front of you — many people on the team put on headphones, listen to music or podcasts, and find the hours pass quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive exterior detailing tasks, including:
• • Cleaning and shining engine bays.
  • Washing and clay barring vehicles.
  • Degreasing and cleaning door jambs.
  • Cleaning and shining wheels and wheel wells.
  • Thoroughly drying vehicles.
  • Waxing Vehicles
• Drive vehicles safely in and out of the wash bay.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including:
• • Picking up trash and sweeping/hosing visible areas.
  • Performing light maintenance (e.g., maintaining a clean wash-bay, refilling detailing supplies as needed).
• Handle general upkeep tasks such as washing and drying towels, stocking cleaning supplies, cleaning wash equipment, windows, doors, and walls, emptying trash cans, and vacuuming canisters.
• Follow all White Glove Detailing policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform various other functions as identified and directed by management.

As the business continues to grow, there will be opportunities to expand into additional roles with increased responsibility and pay for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License: Must possess a current and valid driver's license.
• Age Requirement: Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor, behavior, and appearance in accordance with company policy.
• Safety Conscious: Ability to perform all essential functions safely without endangering oneself or others.
• Attendance: Maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance. Flexibility to work assigned schedules, which may include irregular hours, weekends, extended hours, overtime, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

This position requires sustained physical effort and the ability to:

• Stand for extended periods.
• Bend frequently.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Drive vehicles.
• Reach above and below shoulder level.
• Complete tasks at a fast pace and sustain consistent physical effort.
• Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional disposition.

Vision and Hearing Requirements:

• Possess far and near visual acuity, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech from other sounds (e.g., alarms, horns, vehicles, and equipment).
