Bellevue Family Med, 521 N Sandusky St, Bellevue, OH 44811, USA Under the direction of a radiologist, performs general, vascular and interventional procedures. Works collaboratively with members of the Imaging Services team and other departments throughout the facility to provide safe, quality care. Education, Licensure, Registration and Experience Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program preferred R.D.M.S. or registry eligible – must obtain registry within 1 year of hire date RVT required or within 1 year of hire date CPR certification required General and vascular ultrasound experience preferred Essential Functions Performs ultrasound procedures safely; reviews orders, verifies correct procedure, annotates and labels images with proper patient identification, and completes the procedure according to protocol. Coordinates with various departments. Demonstrates proficiency with EMR and PACS, including proper documentation and charging. Maintains procedure room for optimal efficiency: stocks supplies, disinfects equipment, and disposes soiled linen and waste following hospital policy and manufacturer’s guidelines. Keeps equipment in proper working order and contacts service engineer as needed. Follows appropriate downtime procedure when equipment is not in working order. Follows ODH and other regulatory guidelines. Displays a “can do” attitude within the department and across departmental lines. Works effectively as part of the departmental team to facilitate the department’s ability to meet its goals and objectives, including attending committee meetings, utilizing automated systems to communicate, accepting and completing work assignments, and reporting to work on time. Performs general clerical duties accurately. Other duties as assigned. Standards of Employment Attends all mandatory education programs and can describe responsibilities related to general safety and regulatory compliance. Appearance is professional, neat, clean, and appropriate for the work environment. Wears proper photoidentification badge while on duty. Maintains confidentiality of all hospital and patient information at all times. Attends monthly staff meetings and participates in the monthly rounding process with manager to assure effective and timely two‑way communications. Participates in and completes required department‑specific education and training programs and can describe responsibilities related to department safety and specific job‑related hazards.
