Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio company is actively is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. This is an onsite role with a prestigious law firm client in Philadelphia, PA .

The position will focus primarily on insurance defense and insurance coverage litigation .

Employment Type: Temp-to-Permanent

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Hours: 35 hours per week

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with on-site attendance approximately three days per week or as required

Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

• Provide substantive paralegal and administrative support to multiple attorneys handling insurance defense and coverage matters.
• Prepare, organize, proofread, and manage pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, discovery materials, and other legal documents.
• Coordinate and complete electronic filings in federal and state courts.
• Monitor court deadlines, litigation calendars, and filing requirements.
• Review citations and perform cite checking to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
• Maintain electronic and physical case files using document management and database systems.
• Assist with discovery, document review, productions, deposition preparation, and trial preparation.
• Apply the rules, procedures, and filing requirements of multiple federal and state courts.
• Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, court personnel, vendors, and internal staff.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Perform other litigation support and administrative duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal certificate from an accredited or recognized program.
• Substantive litigation paralegal experience, including strong experience with insurance defense and insurance coverage matters.
• Demonstrated experience with federal and state court filings.
• Proficiency with electronic filing systems and the rules and procedures of various courts.
• Experience performing legal citation review and cite checking.
• Strong administrative, organizational, oral communication, and writing skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and document management or legal database systems.
• Ability to work independently and begin handling substantive assignments with limited training.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, diligence, and follow-through.
• Ability to prioritize assignments, meet deadlines, and manage work for multiple attorneys.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with attorneys, staff, and clients.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work on-site approximately three days per week or as business needs require.
