Job Description
Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care

Schedule

Full-time evening shifts available.

Assignment Details

One year of previous long-term care experience required.

Requirements

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
• BLS certification (must be through American Heart Association or RQI)
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as per the care plan, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
• Maintain resident safety and environment as outlined in the care plan, including prompt response to call lights and alarms.
• Support residents' nutritional needs by ensuring meal delivery and assisting with feeding when necessary.
• Meet residents' rehabilitative needs in accordance with their care plans, including mobility assistance and use of assistive devices.
• Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner.
