We have a fantastic new opportunity for a talented lawyer to join our team of diverse, creative, and hardworking people.As a member of the Product & Regulatory Legal group, you will work closely with Apple’s engineering, operations, government affairs and marketing teams, as well as with other teams in Apple Legal. With passion, dedication, and a desire to tackle challenges, you will play a crucial role as we provide the legal support needed for Apple to continue to build cutting-edge technologies. Description You will join a team of attorneys in the Products & Regulatory Legal group who advise Apple’s engineering, business and government affairs teams on complex regulatory issues. You will analyze the applicability of regulations to various Apple products and services, manage and coordinate the internal work streams within Apple Legal and interact with regulators and other external stakeholders. Your focus will be on platform regulations including in the EMEIA region (such as the Digital Markets Act) and their application to data processing. The work requires outside-the-box thinking, versatility, and creative approaches to legal issues. You will collaborate with other legal groups, Apple government affairs and cross-functional business and engineering teams. You will also advise Apple management on risk allocation/mitigation, business strategies, and policies. Minimum Qualifications 5-8+ years of experience on regulatory matters, such as competition law, digital markets/platform regulations, and privacy and data-related laws at major law firms, in-house or regulatory authorities. Experience interpreting privacy / data laws, competition laws, and European regulations is a plus. JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar. Preferred Qualifications Outstanding communication skills with the ability to advise and build relationships with executive management, teammates, and cross-functional partners. Strong analytical skills and business sense with the ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Ability to develop and facilitate collaboration by cultivating relationships and effectively counseling and communicating with legal and cross-functional partners. Self-starter who is curious, loves technology, and thrives in a dynamic environment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume of projects At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $200,700 and $301,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
