About the Role

You’ll join as one of the earliest Full Stack Software Engineers helping build the foundation of a next-generation AI learning platform. Working closely with founders, product leaders, and fellow engineers, you’ll own projects from concept through deployment. You’ll help build real-time multimodal experiences, experiment with emerging AI capabilities, and translate cutting-edge research into products that directly improve how people learn. This role sits directly on the critical path of company growth and product development.

What You’ll Work On

• Build and scale real-time tutoring experiences powered by voice, vision, and memory systems.
• Experiment with LLM-centric architectures, evaluation frameworks, and context-engineering techniques.
• Ship full-stack features end-to-end across backend systems, AI infrastructure, and user-facing applications.
• Prototype and evaluate memory systems inspired by cognitive science and emerging agent research.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to transform complex AI systems into intuitive user experiences.
• Help establish the technical foundation for future product and company scale.

Qualifications

• 0–4 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
• Experience building and shipping production software.
• Strong product instincts and ability to move quickly from idea to implementation.
• Interest in AI products, LLMs, agents, Voice AI, or multimodal systems.
• Previous startup experience or evidence of exceptional builder mentality through side projects, research, or entrepreneurial work.
• Ability to operate with high ownership, autonomy, and accountability.
• Desire to help build an ambitious company from an early stage.

Compensation : $130K–$220K Base + 0.5–2% Equity

Location : San Francisco, CA

Work Model: Hybrid (4 days per week)
