About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years of Emergency Room experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, TNCC, PALS required Must-Have: Must live 50 miles away Candidates must be available to start within 7 days of offer, no pushed starts allowed Willing to work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma RN Willing to take 1:5 patient ratios Description: This is a rapid start position with expedited onboarding approved. Travelers must provide compliance items to start. The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment that treats every type of patient. Emergency Department nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, and mass transfusion of blood. Patients range from urgent care to critical care and trauma patients. The role involves coordinating and delivering care to patients with complex nursing care needs to ensure the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience.
